YayLo is looking an energetic, fun filled person to join us as a barista and baker. The successful candidate will be willing to learn further baking and barista skills as well as how to serve customers, work on the till and clean and clear the cafe.
What are the main duties of a YayLo Baker/barista?
Our Baker/Barista roles include:
- Baking from scratch and preparing a range of high quality gluten free food including quiche, scones, cakes etc. Although you will likely start by learning the basics of our products you will soon be able to expand your skills
- Making great coffee
- Serving customers and helping team members to clean
- Initiative - always on the move looking for things to do
- Keeping everything sparkling clean and hygienic at all times, including personal appearance and hygiene
- Notifying the team so we can restock in good time
- A love of learning and enthusiasm for self-development
- A natural curiosity that drives one to always seek a better way of doing something
- Excellent attention-to-detail
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Agile
Good to have:
- Experience in Gluten-Free baking
- Barista skills
- A qualification in food hygiene
