We are looking for an individual to provide a friendly, high quality service to Wilma's customers. They will have strong attention to detail and a passion for going the extra mile in a time efficient manner working in our coffee and cake shop.
Responsibilities:
- To assist with the running of our coffee/cake shop.
- Taking detailed cake orders/handing over celebration cakes with precision & care.
- Preparing light snacks, sandwiches/paninis etc. plating/boxing cake orders as required as well as making drinks inclusive of milkshakes and coffees (with training provided.)
- Observing and complying with all relevant Health & Safety, Hygiene, allergen requirements - courses will be provided and completion of these is essential for any successful applicant.
- Serving customers in bubbly, efficient and polite fashion.
- Washing-up/clearing tables and ensuring the café seating area/service is kept immaculate.
- To carry out other duties that may reasonably required by our manager.
Requirements:
- Have the ability to assist with the efficient and safe running of our shop.
- Have the ability to prepare and serve food & drink in accordance with appropriate legislation.
- Enthusiasm and interest in cake/coffee and Wilma’s brand.
- Have the ability to work without supervision, as an individual or as a team member.
- Have a creative flair to aid in photographing products and creating social media content.

Please note this role may require shifts to be worked in our Southend-on-Sea or Leigh-on-Sea shop also.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
