As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. Duties
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Restock supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed throughout service..
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both staff and customers.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail.
