Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting the bar staff by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organised. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a bar or restaurant environment. Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Prepare garnishes and assist with basic food preparation as needed.
- Support the serving staff by delivering drinks and assisting with customer requests.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in kitchen or hotel settings is beneficial but not essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
