Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in our 'Proper Pub' Environment. Your role will involve bartending duties, managing customer orders, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction throughout their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations within the establishment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Basic knowledge of bartending techniques is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Understanding of food safety practices is desirable to maintain health standards within the bar area.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
