Job Summary
We are seeking a Bar Supervisor with experience serving cask ale and craft beer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within food service, and will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving protocols.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation strategies.
- Engage with customers to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to create innovative menus that reflect current trends in the hospitality industry.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hotel sector is essential.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required.
- Experience as a barista or in similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
