Purpose of the job:
As a Bar Supervisor your role is to assist the Managment team in achieving the sales targets, controlling costs, and ensuring the bar team are happy whilst ensuring great levels of service are delivered to all of our guests.
Key Accountabilities:
· Ensuring the highest levels of service are consistently provided to all guests.
· Effectively managing and following up any guest complaints or issues during service to ensure the guest leaves the restaurant satisfied, involving the GM as necessary.
· Fully understanding and adhering to all Company policies, procedures, standards, specifications and guidelines.
· Effectively training and coaching the team in all policies, procedures, standards and menus to ensure they are achieving standards
· Ensuring all areas of the bar meet the Company health and safety and food safety policies at all times and training and awareness is provided in this area.
· Ensuring effective communication between bar, reception, front of house and the kitchen before and during service to ensure a smooth service and customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
· Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the bar menu and an understanding of the menu; encouraging the bar team to effectively up sell to guests when appropriate.
· Ensuring adherence to cash handling management procedures at all times and correct usage of the point of sale system by the team.
· Supporting with stock take
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
