We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. You will need to be fully flexible and weekend work is a must! As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, creating an inviting environment for all guests.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within a hospitality setting.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.
- Previous experience in bartending or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.
