Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during food and drink service times.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and welcomed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
