Overview
Must be over 21 to apply for this role, and have previous experience working on the bar. Cellar knowledge would also be essential for this role.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the bar.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till, ensuring basic math skills are applied for accurate billing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and effective communication during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Uphold high standards of customer service while managing time effectively during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A strong understanding of hospitality principles and a genuine desire to provide excellent service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and managing cash flow.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
