Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of service throughout.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely service.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Support bartending duties when required, including mixing drinks and serving customers at the bar.
- Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidates.
