Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Community Integrated Care is recruiting to expand our current team of Support Workers in Huntly! As a Support Worker, your role will be to support individuals within their own homes, ensuring they are able to live as independently as possible and are supported to make decisions and live amazing lives!
At this service, we support 3 individuals with learning disabilities who live in a large bungalow in a quiet area of Huntly, with good train and bus links to the town. The people we support are active in their local community, enjoying activities such as swimming, going to cafes, music and pamper sessions, so we are looking for people who are fun, active and enjoy supporting others to live the best lives possible. In this role, you will provide support to individuals with some challenging behaviours but you will be fully trained on the needs of the people we support - including training on Moving and Positioning, Epilepsy and MAPA.
If you hold a full UK driving license, that would be a great bonus but is not a mandatory requirement. We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so candidates must be flexible to work on different days and on different shifts and we currently work with early and late shifts, as well as some waking nights. We are currently recruiting for Relief Staff.

Your values:

The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun! We like people who are reliable and honest, so the people we support can build trust and know that you have their best interests at heart. It’s important that you are reliable and honest and can communicate well with everyone.
