Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring the overall well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help clients with mobility and transfers
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Follow care plans and provide companionship to clients
- Administer medication as instructed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Proficiency in English language (additional language skills may be beneficial)
