The Assembly Operator will perform assembly tasks as pat of a team in a manufacturing environment of Hydraulic pumps and/or motors.
Maintain a high quality of work, fully cooperating with the Manufacturing team and adhering to work procedures.
Hours of work - Dayshift:
6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Monday to Friday on an alternating weekly shift pattern. Salary advertised includes 20% shift premium.
Hours of work - Nightshift:
10.00pm - 6.00am, Sunday to Thursday. Top end salary advertised includes 40% shift premium.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Assemble hydraulic pumps and/or motors in accordance with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
· Ensure all products are assembled in accordance with the Company’s quality and health and safety specifications.
· Test hydraulic units to customer specific specifications (further to specific training.
· Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
· Responsible for achieving hourly production targets.
· Ensure production controls are adhered to.
· Understand KPI’s and achieve production targets.
· Communicate breakdowns or machine abnormalities to supervision and maintenance, log breakdowns on the main database.
· Maintain good 5’s standards within your area of work and look for methods for continuous improvements.
· Exhibit flexibility to support production.
· Perform daily checks in accordance with the Company’s production engineering and quality procedures.
Essential requirements:
Previous experience in a similar roles.
Ability to work to set production targets.
Follow written instructions.
Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
Flexible & adaptable.
Team player.
Ability to problem solve at a basic level.
Desirable requirements:
Industrial paint spraying experience.
Forklift licence
Ability to use and read measuring equipment.
