Location: Sherrif Hutton, York
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Apprentice wage (with progression)
Training Provider: York College – one day a week
What’s the Job?
You’ll work with our expert team to learn the ins and outs of metal fabrication – creating high-quality architectural products like solar shadding, louvres, and secondary structors. You’ll learn how to:
- Read and work from technical drawings
- Cut, shape, and weld metal
- Use machinery and hand tools safely and confidently
- Build real products that go to real buildings across the UK!

Who Are We Looking For?

- Is aged 16–19
- Enjoys working with their hands and problem-solving
- Is reliable, hardworking, and a good team player
- Has a genuine interest in engineering or construction
- Wants to build a long-term career in fabrication
