Secure Ambulance Care Assistants - Job Summary:
UK Emergency Medical Transport - Ambulance Service - are growing rapidly and due to new Contract Awards with the NHS - are looking for enthusiastic Individuals with a passion for excellence in Patient Care, to Join our expanding Ambulance Service / Secure Transport Team - to work throughout the Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire & North West of England.
You will form part of our Team responsible for the Safe transportation, Care, Support and Management of Service Users / Patients, diagnosed with Mental Health conditions.
You should hold a Level 3/4 Qualification in First Response Emergency Care
( FREC 3/4 ) - and must have previous experience of working for an Ambulance Service.
Main Duties:
- Provide a Professional & Caring Service to All Patients / Service Users
- Provide the Highest Standards of Clinical / Personal Care within a Pre-Hospital / Inter-Hospital & Ambulance Service environment
- Able to organise and manage complex incidents
- Utilise relevant information to assist Patients / Service Users / Carers to make informed Health Choices - in line with National guidance
- Provide - precise, accurate & clearly legible - reporting documents
Person Specification:
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence - with a Maximum of 3 penalty points
- Must be 21 yrs of Age or over - at the time of Application for Vehicle Insurance Purposes
- Physically Fit and Able to undertake physical aspects of the job role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Demonstrate the ability to work well in an Emergency Ambulance Environment
- Ability to deliver High Quality Patient Care and ensure Service Users satisfaction
- Ability to work as part of the Team and also using your own initiative when necessary
Desirable :
- Hold a First Response Emergency Care ( FREC 3/4 ) Qualification
- Previous Ambulance Service Industry Experience / Secure Transport Services
- Level 3 CERAD Driving Qualification
- PMVA / Conflict Management Training
