Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas that require additional attention or maintenance.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- As the on-site Cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public.
