Aesthetic Practitioner – Key Responsibilities & Role Overview
As an Aesthetic Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering a wide range of advanced skin, beauty, and body treatments to the highest standards using state-of-the-art technology. Working closely with our clinical team—including doctors and nurses providing injectable treatments and consultations—you will also be preferred if skilled in advanced facial procedures such as microneedling, skin peels, laser, RF microneedling, radio frequency, and body sculpting treatments.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform a variety of aesthetic and clinical treatments, including advanced facials, laser skin and hair removal, PRP for skin and hair, chemical peels, injectables, and body contouring therapies.
- Conduct detailed consultations to assess client needs and skin types, recommending bespoke treatment plans that support long-term skin health and wellbeing.
- Offer professional guidance on skincare routines, products, and post-treatment care.
- Ensure all treatments are performed to industry standards, maintaining excellence in hygiene, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate client records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed sales and service targets, actively promoting services, products, and clinic offers.
- Support marketing efforts by positively engaging with clients and promoting the clinic across social media platforms.
- Contribute to the overall upkeep and presentation of treatment rooms and clinic spaces, ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
- Stay current with industry innovations, new technologies, and aesthetic trends through continuous professional development.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Who You Are:
You are either a qualified Nurse or Doctor authorised to carry out cosmetic injectable treatments, or a highly motivated and results-driven Aesthetician/Beauty Therapist with a minimum of NVQ Level 3, 4, 5, or 7 (or equivalent such as CIDESCO). With at least two years of experience in a clinical or aesthetics setting, you bring both technical expertise and a client-focused mindset to your role.
What You Bring:
- A valid aesthetician qualification or professional license relevant to your region.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience performing advanced aesthetic treatments in a clinical or high-end spa environment.
- Proven hands-on experience with advanced skin technologies and treatments including Diode, Alexandrite, and Nd:YAG lasers, RF (Radio Frequency), microneedling, facial peels, HydraFacial, and other advanced skincare procedures.
- Familiarity with premium skincare brands such as Environ, Mesoestetic, and AlumierMD (preferred but not essential).
- Skilled in performing detailed skin analysis and developing tailored treatment plans to meet client goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client care.
- Highly organised and attentive to detail, with a focus on safety, hygiene, and outstanding results.
- Proactive and adaptable, thriving both independently and as a key part of a collaborative team.
- Enthusiastic about staying current with the latest advancements in aesthetics and skincare.
