Activity / Wellbeing Coordinator – Part Time – 25 hours per week – £11.88 per hour
Green Heys & Kemp Lodge Care Home in Waterloo is looking for a part time activity coordinator to work in it’s 40 beds General Nursing and Dementia Nursing Home.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan daily and weekly activities programme for groups and / or individual – person centred events following discussions with residents, staff & relatives.
Run group events that may include craft classes, music, films, quizzes, bingo, reminiscence, entertainment, movies, dancing, keep fit exercise etc
Plan special events e.g mother’s day, Easter etc
Organise outdoor activities
Keep written records of all activities
Keep within activities agreed budget
Assist in fund raising activities. Manage supply of all equipment.
Attend to individual resident’s social needs, including 1:1 private conversation, letter writing, reading & assisting with the pursuance of individual hobbies or interests
Your day will be varied. Developing meaningful occupation therapies, delivering engaging sessions and supporting events and outings. You will be organising a programme of appropriate, therapeutic, and recreational activities that enhance the lives of our residents.
You will deliver quality wellbeing support plans that ensures everyone is treated with dignity and that individual's rights to privacy, independence and choice are met.
The working times will be from 10am to 3:30pm, 5 days a week. However, some weekend availability would be expected as and when required.

Pay: £12.68 per hour
