Job Purpose:
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the property management accounting department in liaising with tenants and property owners via the phone. In addition updating and maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting the preparation and sending of tenant/property and client reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Work based tasks:
- Responsibility for the property accounts and tenant queries call line
- Support the team with all property management accounts mailboxes
- Support collation and sending of a large volume of standard monthly and quarterly information.
- Assisting towards producing non-standard monthly and quarterly financial information.
- Providing assistance to daily system reconciliation and monthly RICS reconciliation.
- Assist in preparation of and sending payment and demand runs
- Assist the property accounts team in delivery of reporting
- Work on ad hoc tasks and projects as requested
Person Specification Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a Team
- Confident telephone manner and ability to handle large volume of phone calls in professional manner
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Organised and can easily prioritise workloads
- Motivated and committed to doing a good job
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Helpful and reliable personality
- To have a good working relationship with colleagues and be able to ask for help when needed and offer assistance to others.
- Knowledge and experience of using CRM software – Qube (Desirable but can train).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,016.00 per year
