Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial processes.
Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required.
- Liaise with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or queries related to accounts.
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and records.
Experience
- Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
