We are looking for a considerate and dependable person of a similar age to assist a bright, articulate, and cheerful man in his 30s. He has a complex physical disability, and uses a powered wheelchair for mobility.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote independence and build confidence
- Establish a steady routine to maintain stability and reliability
- Transport the service user in a specially adapted vehicle
- Accompany the service user to essential medical appointments
Flexible Schedules to Choose From
Schedule One (16 hrs/week)
- Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00 AM - 15:00 PM
- Sundays: 13:00 PM - 20:00 PM (only two shifts per month)
Schedule Two (18 hrs/week)
- Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00 AM - 16:00 PM
- Sundays: 13:00 PM - 20:00 (only two shifts per week)

Your Daily Tasks Will Include
- Safely transport the service user in a specially adapted automatic vehicle
- Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing
- Assist with household tasks and errands
- Accompany the service user on daily outings and exciting adventures
Daily Outings and Adventures Include
- Scenic drives, coastal walks, and local seaside towns
- Cafes and home garden centres
- Outdoor attractions and family entertainment shows
- Museums and zoo visits
- Shopping Centres and more

- A calm, professional individual with strong organisational skills
- A passionate driver committed to ensuring safe journeys
- Must be 25+ for the vehicle insurance cover provided
- Physically fit and used to being active on your feet for daily routines
- In good health with overall physical well-being
- Reliable, dedicated, and confident in decision-making

Work Environment
The duties will take place in a calm, peaceful, and safe home setting, where the service user lives with his mother. His main carer provides her assistance at different times, ensuring continuity of care.

Must live within 15 miles of Accrington, including areas such as Blackburn and Rossendale, to apply for the role.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
